TRS Advisory Board
The May 29, 1990 Order also provided for the establishment of the Telecommunications Relay Service Advisory Board (Board) for the purpose of reviewing the success of the TRS in Pennsylvania and identifying additional improvements which may be necessary to implement for the continued success of the program. The Board is comprised of representatives from the following: PTA, PUC, the Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Hamilton Relay and from the community of persons who are deaf or hard of hearing and persons with language and speech disorders. The Board meets quarterly in Harrisburg, and functions as a user group providing guidance in such areas as problem solving and future enhancements. The set term of a TRS Advisory Board membership is two years.
